I use this hotel every time I visit Salem. It's close, less expensive than staying in Salem, clean, and includes a very good breakfast. It has recently been redecorated. Has an indoor pool and very nice exercise room. There is also self serve laundry available on site.
An excellent value! We travelled to Danvers to visit Salem for a week around Halloween (essentially this is peak season). We have been pleasantly surprised by our accommodations given the affordability. The daily hot continental breakfast has been a godsend to our family of 4 - essentially saving us $20-30 a day easily. The indoor pool is small but clean. The exercise room is also small but with a nice assortment of machines and weights. There is free ice available and a laundry room for guests. Our room - we chose a basic room with 2 queen beds - suits our needs perfectly. We arrived to a spotless room and it has been maintained meticulously throughout our stay. It has a mini fridge (with a small freezer compartment), a microwave, coffee maker, a closet, dresser, seating bench, table and 2 chairs, a flat screen, and an end table between the two beds. We have had no issues with noise (aside from hearing the shower next door while we are also in the restroom) and the room darkening curtains are great for their intended purpose. The bathroom is quite small but has a full tub, and there is a full length mirror outside the restroom with an outlet beneath it. We definitely plan to stay here during our next visit and highly recommend it to others.
The room was super clean and well-appointed. Staff was friendly day and night. Complimentary breakfast was well stocked and clean. We would not hesitate to book rooms here again.
This hotel was clean and the offered the typical amenities and the beds and pillows were super comfortable. The staff was terrific. The young lady at the counter was extremely helpful and offered suggestions...she really went above and beyond for us. The heated salt water pool was a great time with the kids & the breakfast was plentiful and adequate. The only complaint that I would have is that the walls seemed to be thinner than usual. When it was quiet we could hear people talking in the room beside us, but it wasn't a problem at all.
Very friendly staff from the beginning. It was nice to have chocolate chip cookies that were actually still warm when we got there. Another perk for me was that they had coffee services that were actually fresh 24 hours. Although I did not go in the pool my children did and they thoroughly enjoyed it I don't believe I heard any complaints from them. The room is very clean room, comfortable beds, clean bathroom nicely stocked with toiletries. The breakfast was fresh, great variety of food item's and beverages. My only complaint at breakfast and purely my preference is a my only complaint at breakfast and purely my preference was to have more then plain bagels (although that could have just been the day that I was there), and crispier bacon. Overall enjoyed my visit and would go back.
