-Barcelona: A Love Untold (with Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla; first time being at that theater; released around September of last year)
This is the most retarded thing I have ever experienced.. I AM NOT PLEASED! why is this a thing? I don't understand why this got changed, this is just more work and its going to make customers unhappy and unsatisfied.
-Can't Help Falling in Love (also with KathNiel; released this past April)
the only problem aren't the bathrooms are clean. I still enjoy it here. if you like movies. even with the existence of netflix. this place is a must!
This is a great theater. The only reason I go to this theater is for the Filipino movies with English subtitles that are shown quite sometime. It probably won't last long, however, due to a small Filipino population in some parts of MA. They would usually come out a week after it releases in the Philippines in other U.S. theaters (not just MA). Sad to say that Danvers is the only theater in Massachusetts and New England showing these types of films quite often since we live far from the Bristol County, so yes it's quite the drive up north. Filipino movies (mostly by ABS-CBN's Star Cinema) I have seen so far at that theater are:
-Finally Found Someone (with Sarah Geronimo and John Lloyd Cruz; which we just saw last night).
I really love it! i've grown up going here. it gives you such a 1980's vibe.
Disgusting. $16 for imax screening of "IT" ...not only are the seats as old as dirt and by far the most uncomfortable of modern day movie theaters but the fact this theater was this disgusting for how little amount of customers were actually there ..this is just the outside of the theater..going In the theater touching the railings or side wall was horrible! Isles filled with trash as it obviously hadnt been cleaned for at least 2 movies. My hands and nails were dirty from the arms of my seat. I told customer service and he just said sorry. That was that...though the overflowing trash barrel was in plain view of his seat at customer service.
When me and my mom saw Sarah G. & JLC's film last night, we were the only ones in the theater, which was awesome and it rarely happens at any movie theater. It was a good film though. From up above mentioned, the first two, not too many people, and the third, lot of people. Barcelona isn't really the first Filipino movie I've watched in the U.S. with English subtitles, but the other ones I saw from a couple years ago were in New York and Connecticut. The seats are comfy and in theater 5 we were in (same auditorium where we watched KathNiel's latest film), are not that dirty. Food and drinks are a bit pricey, but the Stubs rewards make up for it. Staff are ok, but not as friendly as the ones at my local Regal in Taunton. Will wait for the renovations to be completed and hopefully we'll be back for more Filipino films to watch with recliners next year.
UPDATE 12/7/17: According to the Simon website for AMC at Liberty Tree, the first phase (1-10) of the renovation (including MacGuffins) has been completed last week and the second phase (11-20) will be expected to be completed by this coming January.
Usually a decent place to see a movie but there is some construction right now
-My Ex and Whys (with Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil; released this past February)
