This place is the WORST place I've ever been to. From the moment my friend and I walked in the employees stared us down as if we couldn't afford anything. We were sent to the 3rd floor and told to pick out what we could afford. My friend picked out 5 dresses and was looking forward to trying them on so she handed them over to a saleswoman and was told to sit and wait until her name was called of the list. We sat and waited 30 minutes meanwhile new customers were walking in and right away taken to the fitting rooms! My friend noticed and walked over to the saleswoman politely asked her when her turn was and where her dresses had gone. The saleswoman said she had no idea ( How do you loose 5 dresses?!). So we sat back down and waited another 30 minutes, until finally a fitting room employer walked over and asked if she was all set. My friend answered NO and again asked where her dresses had been placed the woman rudely said "I don't know, here try these two size 10 on" she grabbed two dresses that weren't even the ones my friend had wanted. I would continue but it just gets worst from there. Hate to say it but this place is absolutely discriminate to minorities and plus sized girls.
I absolutely loved this store and staff, they're not pushy!!!! Let me just say Elizabeth was a dime. She was so patient and attentive, she listed to what I wanted and pulled out THE dress--mind you I went wedding dress shopping at this store. They have such a broad selection whether it's Bridal or Prom dresses. My dress is gorgeous, it's Sherri Hill and half the price of the other Bridal stores--I went to a few. I 100% recommend this store.
This experience was unexpectedly terrible. My friend and I drove over an hour out to visit what we thought would be a dress shop with exceptional service. What we came to find is that while the younger staff are all wonderful and nice people, the older staff who actually control operations are pushy and rude. They do not take into account personal style preferences. The particular staff member who was helping my friend and I told me that the only dress I tried on and liked was "boring" and "not prom material". Then as I proceeded to try on more dresses she asked me if I was actually planning to buy or "just playing dress up". While I understand that the employee's time is valuable and they have sales goals to meet, I felt that this encounter was pushy and rude, placing me in the mindset that I should seek a prom dress elsewhere. The space was small and cramped, and filled up with people very quickly. At to.es we felt ignored and unattended to. The space was also not clean and the dresses seemed disorganized.
SO UNPROFESSIONAL and straight out RUDE!!! My daughter went to glitterati looking for a plus size semi-formal dress. After making her wait a half hour, they told her that they would "not allow her to look at dresses because she was too fat, and she would be disappointed that they had nothing in her size. They only had things in size 0 and 2...for normal sized girls". They did apologize for making her wait so long...they were trying find someone to tell her this....what?!?!?! Yes, they really said: you're too fat. Yes, they really told her that the reason for her wait was because no one had the etiquette/courtesy to say something in a professional way. If you are not a "normal size"/2, DO NOT GO TO GLITTERATI.
Wonderful & friendly staff the second you walk in. Everyone was very helpful. They are well organized to say the least ! Large variety of dresses. Different sizes on different floors which makes it less crowded. We had the pleasure of working with Maria who was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Will definitely return and recommend to everyone.
