I told him to just let me pay for my oil change and give me my keys.
I went there for an oil change and just that. After my oil change, before they let me pay, the guy starts telling me that my bearings are gone, my coolant is leaking and my manifold has a leak the work would be over $1700. And a complete engine rebuild.
I take my car to Firestone on Endicott St. for oil changes and other maintenance. Service is great. They are friendly, keep me informed about progress, and are willing to talk about different priced options. I also appreciate the on-line coupons.
Told me things were wrong with my car that weren't actually wrong with my car. Untrustworthy. (This happened multiple times) Seems like they only want to get more money and could care less about customer retention. I will never be going back and I would not recommend this place to any of my friends.
And as I was leaving, they were trying totalk an old man into having the four brand new tires he was buying rotated.
Professional service, No up selling solicitations. With actual on time appointments. The quality you would expect from Firestone.
I LOVE the tires and was impressed by the sales associates knowledge when I originally got a quote the guy had the wrong tires the new associate spotted this and made sure I got the right tires AND it only took 1 1/2 hours for them to be installed. They were very nice people to deal with AND they pointed out that my tires qualify me for a $60 rebate which I didnt know and now Im getting $60 back I love that.
I tell the guy I'll let my mechanic, my brother know. He proceeds to tell me that my car is unsafe to drive and he shouldn't in clear conscience let me leave like that. That I can get it done ASAP, if I sign up for their credit card.
I am NEVER going there again. I wish there was a 0 star option.
